Moncton, July 8 - Aaron JONES, one of the old landmarks in Moncton, died yesterday after an illness of about two months. Deceased was born on the Salisbury Road, some eight miles from what is now the town of Moncton and remained there all his life, up to within 15 years, since which time he has lived in town. He owned considerable real estate, at one time holding several acres in what is now the business centre of town and the possession of some of which he retained up to the time of death. Deceased was 89 years of age.
