Bathurst (Glouc. Co.), 26th Jan. - A fatal accident occurred between Jacquet River and Belledune today. A brakeman on the Intercolonial Railway named Richard WALKER, while standing on the top of the train, was struck by a temporary tank house, knocked off, falling between the cars, was dragged some distance, the train passing over his body mangling it fearfully. Deceased was standing up to hand a letter to a section man at the side of the track. The body was brought to Bathurst station where an inquest will be held tonight.
