In the usual place today is announced the death of Mrs. J.E. MORSE of Halifax, N.S., a lady belonging to St. John and favorably known here. Mrs. Morse was a d/o late Henry HAWKINS who removed from St. John to Australia, in which country he died. Her first husband was the late Albert CHAMBERLAIN. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Chamberlain became a teacher in the public schools and was much esteemed by the School Board for her skill and capacity. She subsequently married Mr. Morse of Halifax in which city she had lived for some years.
