The death of James ANGUS at the advanced age of 75 years occurred at his home on Park St. at 9 o'clock last night. Mr. Angus had been ill for some six weeks and during that time he was unable to take nourishment of any kind. He was perfectly rational up to the time of his death, but for the last few days, owing to the extreme weakness, was unable to converse but little. Mr. Angus was born in Shinimleas, N.S. and has been living in Moncton about 18 years. He was in the I.C.R. employ here for about ten years, but left the shops three years ago and spent two years on the Pacific coast. He was a man of kindly disposition and for his obliging and unassuming manner was much esteemed by those who knew him. Deceased leaves a wife and seven children. His sons are Clifford ANGUS of Vancouver, B.C., traveller for J.W. Mackedie & Co., Montreal; C.H. ANGUS of Boston; Henry ANGUS of Chicago; H.C. ANGUS of W.H. Faulner's clothing store and Fred ANGUS who lives at home. His daughter is Mrs. Edw. COLE. The funeral takes place 2:30 Sunday from the family residence at the corner of Lutz and Park Streets.
