Deer Island (Charlotte Co.) - The death of Walter LEONARD took place at the residence of John C. CALDER, Fairhaven, 16th inst. The deceased was born at Leonardville 72 years ago where he married and brought up a large family. He has resided in St. Stephen, St. Andrews and Eastport. Especial credit is due to Mr. Calder and his sister, Mrs. BALCOM, who cared for him during the last few weeks of his life. The funeral services were held in the Disciple Church in Leonardville, 19th inst., Rev. Ryan officiating.
