Albert LOGAN, 21, s/o John LOGAN of Straight Shore (St. John) on Monday last was hired to assist James GILLESPIE of Irishtown during the fishing season, and left with him in a boat on the afternnon of that day ... He (LOGAN) begged GILLESPIE to take him to his aunt's at Pisarinco ... The Coroner's Jury found that LOGAN's death was caused by excessive drinking and exposure to inclement weather. (see original)
