While the stream drivers on the corporation drive were at work on a jam of logs on the pier of the bridge Thursday morn., they noticed the body of a man caught in the jam. The body was supposed to have been that of Milford ORSER, stage driver between Andover and Grand Falls, who was supposed to have been accidentally drowned at the Falls about four weeks ago. He was last seen about 2:30 o'clock on the afternoon of May 15th going towards the wells below the Falls. The body was much mutilated. The remains were taken out and removed to the undertaking establishment of Alex. Henderson where an inquest was held. Wm GREEN, Wm LLOYD and Geo. LIBBY, stream drivers, were called and testified as to finding the body. Haelean STEPHENSON, Fred ROSS, Herbert OLIVER and Abner HAMM were called and identified the body. They were personally acquainted with the deceased. The deceased was a s/o late Frank ORSER, Four Falls (Victoria Co.) He leaves two sisters, Mrs. WRIGHT, Four Falls and Mrs. GRANT, Kilburn. The remains were sent to Aroostock Junction Thursday afternoon.
