Bathurst (Glouc. Co.) May 15 - Alphonse J. MELANSON second s/o Samuel MELANSON, merchant of this place, died of pneumonia at his father's residence Sunday afternoon after a few days illness. Mr. Melanson was only 20 years of age. The funeral took place at 8:30 o'clock this morn. to the Church of the Holy Family, Bathurst Village. The services at the church and grave were conducted by Rev. Father Varrily. The pall bearers were Fred BALDWIN, James DUNN, Baldwin MELVIN, Stanislaus DOUCETT, Stanilaus HACHEY and Charles LANDRY. Harry A. MELANSON of Montreal and Miss Melanson of St. Anthony (Kent Co.), brother and sister of the deceased, arrived here Monday night.
