The West Side, Independence, Oregon, says: Dr. Walter BABBITT, the partner of Dr. T.J. Lee in the practice of medicine, arrived here last week and has taken up his work in our midst. Dr. Babbitt is a handsome man, over six feet in height, dark hair and blue eyes and an exceedingly intelligent countenance. He studied medicine at Trinity College, Toronto, Canada and a spent a year after graduating in the hospitals of London and Dublin. He comes direct from Saint John, N.B. It is understood that Mrs. Babbitt will join her husband on the Pacific slope in June.
