Mary GIFFORD, age 73, who lived with her son Andrew GIFFORD, Tannery St., died Monday night. An inquest was held on the body on Tuesday before Coroner Jacob Wortman and the following jury: John LITTLE, foreman; G.H. BROWN, A. GIRVAN, B. CLARK, John LEAMAN, jr., Samuel WINTERS and Oliver BRIGGS. Evidence given by Minnie GIFFORD, daughter of the deceased. Verdict. Died by the visitation of God. (see original)
