A large number of citizens attended the funeral of G.J. CHUBB which took place saturday afternoon from his residence, Orange Street, to Trinity Church, thence to Rural (Fernhill) cemetery. Members of the Albion and other Masonic lodges preceded the hearse. The services were conducted by Rev. Canon Brigstocke, assisted by Rev. W. Eatough. Thomas GILBER, E.B. KETCHUM, B.L. PETERS, Charles CAMPBELL, Clarence WARD and John McALLISTER were pall bearers.
