One of the oldest residents of Chatham (North. Co.), Arthur JOHNSTON died Tuesday morn, about 6 o'clock at the age of 73. Mr. Johnston served for 21 years and 6 mos. in the British Army in the 2nd Regt. and had three good conduct and service medals, his services being chiefly in India. He has lived for more than thirty years in Chatham and droawn the pension to which he was entitled during that time - Advance.
