On Thursday last the body of John COCHRAN was discovered floating in the river containing such marks and bruises as to indicate that he had come to a violent end. Two men named LOUGE and CONNORS have been arrested on suspicion and lodged in Sunbury Jail. The latter escaped to this city, but was pursued by a brother of the deceased, and with the assistance of J. Stockford, High Constable, he was apprehended. It appears that on the eve. of the 15th inst., the three men were drinking in a tavern at the mouth of the Oromocto (Sunbury Co.) when some difference arose between them on party subjects, and in this state they left the tavern together for their respective homes since which time COCHRAN had been missing - N. Brunswicker.
