A child of Allan D. MacDONALD of Peake's station, P.E.I., was burned to death at that place Tuesday. The family, with the exception of a little boy about 3 years of age and a lad of 16, were away from home. The latter went to the well for a bucket of water and when he returned he found the little fellow in a blaze. After lingering in great agony about an hour, the child expired. Before he died he mentioned something about matches and it is thought he had been amusing himself with this very dangerous plaything.
