John Moss WATHEN, one of the oldest residents of Richibucto (Kent Co.) died Saturday afternoon. Mr. Wathen was born in London, England, August 18th, 1804 and landed in P.E.I. when he was 4 years of age. In 1811 he removed to Richibucto where he has since resided and brought up a large family. His second wife and six sons survive him. Two of his sons reside on the homestead at Wathen's Point; one son, James N. WATHEN, teaches school at Weldford Station; another, George WATHEN, follows a similar profession at Sackville (West. Co.) and Robert WATHEN is one of the guards in the Dorchester Penitentiary. - 'Advance'
