The death of the Scotchman James WALLACE, on whom an inquest was held Monday by Coroner Murphy of Gaspereau (Queens Co.) took place Saturday night. Mr. WALLACE was arrested by the City Marshall a week ago for rent due John CALLAGHAN of Reed's Point (St. John) He and his wife and small family went to Gaspereau to get work, but he was confined to his bed from his arrival on Tuesday until his death Saturday night. WALLACE came to this country only came to this country a few months ago and was unable to obtain any work. His children are all very young, two of them being born but a few months since. WALLACE was buried Monday eve. at 5 o'clock at the Hoyt burial ground. The services were conducted by Rev. Robert French, Baptist Minister.
