Death of George Heber CONNELL, M.P. - His remains arrived at Woodstock Saturday morn. (from Ottawa) in charge of his brother, W.M. CONNELL, Esq. who had gone as far as Danville Junction to meet them. The funeral on Sunday afternoon was the largest ever witnessed in the town of Woodstock. Major Vince HOLYOKE and G.L. HOLYOKE acted as marshals. B. LYNCH, E.J. CLARK, R.S. BULL, Hugh HAY, Jas. BAKER, B.H. SMITH were pall bearers. Mourners were Heber CONNELL and Charles CONNELL, sons of the deceased; Dr. C.P. CONNELL and W.M. CONNELL, brothers; G.R. ANDERSON, brother-in-law; George CONNELL and Wm FISHER, uncles; A.B. CONNELL, Chas. W. CONNELL, Herbert CONNELL, H.A. CONNELL, C.H.B. FISHER, G. Fred FISHER, cousins. (see original)
