The residence of B. TILTON, Esq., Lancaster (St. John) was on Tuesday eve. the scene of a pleasant gathering. It was the golden wedding of that gentleman and his estimable lady. In company was John WISHART, J.P.. He acted as groomsman for Mr. TILTON in 1830, having acted in a similar capacity for Mr. TILTON when united to his deceased first wife in 1822. The present Mrs. TILTON was Miss Ann SCAMMELL, sister of the late Joseph SCAMMELL and William SCAMMELL of (St. John) city.
