A correspondent at Bass River (Kent Co.) writing on the 22nd states that Henry WELLWOOD of Salmon River left home Monday to attend a sale of cattle and farm produce at Molus River on the following day and put up for the night at John CALL's on the Richibucto River. He took ill suddenly during the night, his whole body appearing to be paralyzed. He lingered on through the next day and died on the following morn, leaving a wife and five small children, the youngest being only two days old.
