At an early hour yesterday morn., Mr. McDEVITT, Thomas CALLAWAY, Daniel BONER and Thomas McPHERSON found the bodies of a woman about 30 years of age and a child about 18 mos. in the Portland Mill Pond near Harris' Car Shop. (St. John) In about an hour, Mrs. WARBURTON of Duke St. recognized deceased as Catherine JACKSON w/o William JACKSON, a sailor, who is at present serving on board the barque "Isle of Syke" lying at New York. The unfortunate woman has been living for the last six months in a house belonging to Mr. CHITTICK on Duke St. (see original)
