The funeral of John CASEY was attended by St. Joseph's senior society. The pall bearers were William MARTIN, Patrick McDONALD, John McLAUGHLIN, Patrick DILLON, Patrick HUGHES and John LANE. The Father Matthew Association, headed by the City Cornet band, attended the funeral of the late Daniel COLLINS. The pall bearers were James MURPHY, John LENIHAN, M. DONOVAN, John KEEFE, Joseph GRADY and M. DONOVAN. The remains in both cases were taken to the Cathedral where services were conducted by Rev. J.J. Walsh, after which interments took place in the old cemetery.
