George McSWEENEY, Moncton last eve. received a despatch informing him of the death of his father-in-law, John LEFURGEY, Summerside, P.E.I. which occurred at the Revere House in Boston yesterday. Deceased was a prominent Conservative and contested Prince County, P.E.I. for Dominion Parliament in 1887. He was largely interested in ship and shipping. He was about 67 years of age and leaves several sons and daughters, the wife of W.A. BRENNAN, editor of the 'Summerside Journal', also a daughter. (see original)
