New Brunswick Poet - Charles George Douglass ROBERTS son of Rev. George Goodridge ROBERTS, rector of Fredericton, was born January 10, 1860 in the rectory of Douglas parish. Nine months after the family removed to Westcock (West. Co.) where the first 13 years of his life were spent. His mother was the daughter of the late Judge BLISS. His marriage to Mary Isabel FENETY d/o George E. FENETY, Queen's Printer and ex-Mayor of Fredericton, took place on Dec. 29, 1880. (see original for career)
