It is with great regret we are called upon to announce the death of George REED which occurred at his home near Becker, Minn., Jan. 6th. About a month ago he went to the woods in the employ of T.S. Nickerson & Co. at Kerrick, Minn. About two weeks ago he was taken slightly ill and thinking he could work it off, unfortunately took cold several times which settled in his head. On Dec. 21st, he returned home wuite sick and it was soon found that he had typhoid fever. George Reed was 35 years 4 mos. of age and was born in New Brunswick. For the last twelve years he had lived in this vicinity. He leaves a father, step-mother, two brothers and one sister.
