Thomas GLENDENNING has received word of the death of his father, John GLENDENNING which took place at his home, Galloway (Kent Co.) yesterday. Mr. Glendenning came from Dumfries, Scotland when but 9 years of age and has been a resident of that place ever since. He was married at the age of 22 and leaves a widow and ten children. Although 85 years of age, he had been smart and active up to within a short time of his death. He is the father of T. Glendenning and Mrs. John SMITH, High St. of this city.
