The jury in the inquest on the remains of Hanford SHARP, Intercolonial fireman, killed by the collision of a coal train with a trolly near Athol station, returned a verdict. The accident was caused by a section man named Robert ADAMS, sr., sent out as flagman misunderstanding his orders. The deceased was about 30 years old and unmarried. The deceased had been a regular attendant of St. Paul's Reformed Episcopal Church since his removal to Moncton (West. Co.) An Apohaqui (Kings Co.) correspondent writes: The remains of the late Hanford Sharp arrived here this morn., Aug. 3, in charge of George MILNE, his driver, and companion in danger. The remains, which were enclosed in a handsome rosewood casket, were laid in their last resting place in the Church of England burial ground, the service being read by Rev. Canon Medley. The pall bearers, all young men, were John BURGESS, jr., George McDOUGALL, Thos. McFARLANE, Albert BELDING, Tyng PETERS of I.C.R.
