Thomas WHEELER died at residence 20 Steward Street, Ottawa this morn. He was in good health yesterday and attended to his duties as caretaker of the reading room of the Senate. It is supposed that cause of death was heart disease. Deceased was born in Newcastle (North. Co.) N.B. where he had two brothers and a sister living. He was 60 years of age and came to Ottawa a quarter of a century ago, since which time he has been an employee in the reading room of the Senate. He leaves a wife and four sons and daughters. Edward WHEELER, well known cutter of Boston, Mass., is a son of the deceased. - Ottawa 'Free Press'. 23rd - The remains were brought to Newcastle and interred in St. Mary's burial ground on Saturday.
