250 years ago John CARMAN and Florence CARMAN settled at Hempstead, Long Island where they pre-empted 120,000 acres of land. It is proposed to have a grand reunion of their descendants on 3rd Nov. 1881 and also looking towards recovery of some of the land of which proper conveyances were not made. A. CARMAN of J.B. & J.S.
