On Thursday eve. 16th July, at the residence of the groom, T. Herbert MANZER, a fashionable wedding came off. The occasion was the homecoming of T. Herbert Manzer and his bride, late of Woodstock, N.B. Friends of the groom were invited to attend on the evening of their arrival from St. Andrews, where they had been spending a short honeymoon as well as visiting Charles MANZER, brother of the groom. After the guests had arrived, Mrs. James MANZER, the bride and groom and Miss Gertie MANZER were ushered into the room where they stood to be introduced to the guests. Miss Alice MANZER and Miss Gertie Manzer, late of Boston, invited guests to repair to different parts of the house where refreshments would be served. (see original)
