Alexander ROBINSON, St. Patrick (Charlotte Co.) was drowned in the the St. Croix river at Vanceboro, Maine on Thursday 19th inst. He was cutting plank to let a head of water out of a dam to float the logs below. The water started with a rush carrying the plank away and Robinson with them. The body was recovered and brought to Daniel PRATT's in St. Patrick where the funeral took place last Saturday. The deceased was about 55 years of age and had no relatives in the county.
