A St. Andrews despatch states that on Sunday last about 4 o'clock in the afternoon, of Cheney's Head, Grand Manaan, a squall struck a small pinkey schooner and upset her. There were five persons on board who all drowned. John LARRY, leaves wife, seven children; John NESBITT, a widower, leaves three children; Mrs. Simeon FRANKLIN, all of White Head Island; Frank ROBINSON, North Head, unmarried; Mrs. LINDSAY, Woodward's Cove. ... Later advises state that Mrs. LINDSAY was not, as first reported, on the ill fated schooner, which foundered off Cheney's Head on Sunday week. Miss Ellen URQUHART was among the ill fated passengers.
