John LONG, Boiestown, Miramichi, who has been frequently troubled with an aggravated disease of the stomach, arrived in town last week for the purpose of consulting with a physician. While stopping at the Brayley House he suffered a relapse which completely closed the passage to the stomach and although Dr. Dow inserted a tube in his throat and rendered every assistance, he died in considerable agony on Friday night last. He left a widow and children.
