At 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon, 12th inst., nine or ten young men were bathing in Macrae's mill pond, Bald Hill Settlement, Wickham Parish (Queens Co.) when one young man got into a deep hole, and as none of his comrades could swim, the poor lad sank before any help could reach him. The body was recovered two hours afterwards and on Monday was interred in the Baptist Cemetery. The lad's name was Stephen LONDON, about 20 years of age, and much sympathy is felt for his parents, Charles LONDON and Jane LONDON.
