The 'Gleaner' favored this afternoon a call from Frank ROSS who has just returned to Fredericton, his native town, from Manitoba where he has been employed on the Mounted Police for more than sixteen years. He fought in the battles of Duck Lake, Batoche, Battleford and Cut Knife Creek during the rebellion of '85. (Riel Rebellion) About a month ago, the Gleaner contained the above. The article on our 6th page 'Is he an adventurer?' throws some light on our hero's subsequent career. (see original page 6 of The Capital)
