'Bay Pilot', St. Andrews reports the death from apoplexy of George N. JOHNSTON of Northwest Harbor, Deer Island (Charlotte Co.) He was taken with a fit while fishing in St. Andrews harbor and died as soon as he reached Deer Island. It also records the sudden death from congestion of the lungs pf Mrs. McLEOD of the Passamaquoddy Hotel and of George COLE an old man-of war's man who had served in one of the British war vessels which guarded St. Helena when Bony was a prisoner there. Cole had been in St. Andrews since 1825 and prided himself of having served two Kings and one Queen of England.
