Between 12 and 1 o'clock yesterday the body of James RUSSELL, about 50 years of age, who had been working for the Corporation up to Saturday afternoon, was found on the flats at the foot of Water St. Extension near Fisher's Ship yard by two boys named William DOHERTY and Charles EDMONDS. Information was at once given to the Coroner and the body conveyed to the Dead House. About 7 o'clock Saturday eve., deceased was paid two and a half dollars by Mr. McDADE. When searched there was only 30 cents on his person. He was a widower, his wife having died about six weeks ago; had no family and boarded in a house on Queen St. (St. John) An inquest will be held this morn. 9 o'clock.
