Cross Creek, Stanley (York Co.) May 9 - Fred CLARKSON, age 23 years, s/o Wm CLARKSON of Williamsburg, was drowned yesterday while working on Fullerton's drive on the Dungarvon. The body, which was put on the Canada Eastern train today at Boiestown, was transferred to Cross Creek. The deceased was caught in a log jam and was so injured that he could not save himself, although pulled upon the logs by his comrades, who had then to save themselves.
