Halifax 'Herald' - Daniel WILSON, formerly of the 11th Hussars and who was one of the six hundred who made the famous charge at Balaclava (the only one now left in Canada) is at the point of death at his residence in Maitland, N.S. He is a brother of Policeman Wilson and is in possession of a number of medals which he gained for his bravery in the Crimean War.
