The contracting parties were Miss Isabell ROWLEY d/o Thomas Rowley and Stephen COATES, one of Amherst's clerks. The knot was tied by Rev. D.A. Steele. The bridesmaid was Miss Sadie MITCHELL while Albert LYTHGOE acted as groomsman.
