William RING of St. James Street, Carleton (St. John) who died Monday last, was one of the oldest residents of the west side. He was born 84 years ago in Rhode Island and when 4 years of age came to British territory. Since he was 8 years of age he resided in Carleton. Up to the time of his death his memory was very clear. Mr. Ring leaves a large number of descendants.
