Feb. 24 - The most interesting social event in the season in Chatham (North. Co.) was the marriage at St. Andrew's Church this eve. of Edward JOHNSON, third s/o John M. JOHNSON and Jessie B. JOHNSTONE third d/o late James B. JOHNSTONE. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Dr. Jardine assisted by Rev. L.G. Johnstone, M.D. The bridesmaids were Annie SHIRREFF and Minnie MUIRHEAD of Chatham and the groomsmen, Jas. P. MITCHELL, Newcastle and Campbell JOHNSON, brother of the groom.
