St. Peter's Church, Bathurst Village was the scene of a happy event Thursday morn. when at 7 o'clock, S.J. MELANSON, postmaster of the village, was united in marriage with Miss Teresa HACHEY, same place. The ceremony was performed by Rev. John Carter, assisted by Rev. Wm Varley, P.P. and Rev. W.E. Sormany, vicar. The groom was supported by his brother, Albert MELANSON and the bridesmaid was Miss Josephine HACHEY.
