We regret to record the death at Bartlett, N.H., of J.C. WALTERS who passed away March 7th, in the 40th year of his age. His funeral took place March 9 at 12 o'clock. A large number of members of the Osceola Lodge I.O.O.F. gathered at the house of W.H. YATES, brother-in-law of the deceased, where the remains lay. The body was conveyed to Union Church where words of comfort were spoken by Rev. Lyons. Bro. Walters was a native of Moncton, N.B. He leaves a wife and little son, 6 years old; also two brothers, George WALTERS and Bliss WALTERS of Jackson, N.H., besides a father, mother and two sisters in New Brunswick.
