Mr. K. BARBOUR of Torryburn found a man in a helpless condition in one of his barns Tuesday eve. The name of the unfortunate was James B. CURTIS and when found was nearly exhausted, having lain in the building for ten days without food or drink. The account he gave of himself was that ten days before he had returned to Torryburn, where he had worked many years ago, but could not find any old acquaintance and took shelter in the night in the building where found. In the morn. his feet and legs were so swollen and stiffened he could not move. Mr. Curtis was taken to the Hospital where he is now. The old man was well dressed having on two gold rings, a gold watch chain and says a gold watch is lost in the hay where he had stayed so long. Mr. Curtis claims to be a native of Sussex.
