On 6th inst., Olivia KING widow of George KING and mother of the postmaster of Lockhartville, N.S., passed away at the age of 95 years and 4 mos. The deceased was a member of the so-called Methuselah Cleveland family, and third cousin to the father of Grover CLEVELAND, president of the United States. This Cleveland family are descendants of Moses CLEVELAND who came from England to the United States and who had title of Knight. At the time of the American war he had two grandsons, One of these, named Benjamin CLEVELAND came to this country, giving rise to the Nova Scotia Clevelands. The other son remained in the U.S. 'Mrs. King', says the Hants Journal, 'was the last of her family.' She had a family of nine, eight of whom are yet alive, the oldest, Mrs. Benjamin MASON, being 69 years of age. Mrs. King was born at Horton in 1792.
