A lad named James RONAN working at Daniel CRIMMEN's steam winch at the Canada Wharf was missing last eve. under circumstances that leads to the fear that he was drowned. He last seen on the scow at 5 p.m. On 18th Aug., the 'Gleaner' reported Peter RONAN, the father of James, as missing under nearly the same circumstances, he also having been employed at the winch when last seen alive. On the following Wednesday his lifeless body was found in the water. - 'Chatham Gleaner'
