At Salmon Beach about 12 miles from Bathurst (Glouc. Co.), while two men were out in a boat attending their fish traps, Wednesday morn., the boat - which was leaking suddenly filled and upset, throwing both men into the water. They at once clung to the boat, but before assistance could reach them, Edward ROY, age 22, married, of Petit Roche, sank and was drowned. The accident happened close to shore.
