Charles HARKINS of Dipper Harbour, writing to Andrew LAWSON states that his comrade, W. Henry SNIDER was drowned from their fishing schooner recently while on the way from Saint John to the fishing grounds at Grand Manan (Charlotte Co.) The accident took place during the night and the body was not recovered. The deceased was about 35 years of age.
