Last Thursday friends of W.K. CHAPMAN were deeply grieved to hear of his sudden departure from their midst. He had continued good health until a few days before his death. He was 82 years of age and one of Dorchester's wealthiest men. He was a large ship owner and carried on a large real estate business. He leaves five children, three daughters and two sons - Clarence CHAPMAN and Albert J. CHAPMAN, all of this place. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon. Rev. Campbell conducted the funeral ceremony.
