Yesterday afternoon a sad accident occurred almost opposite Indiantown (St. John) Charles RILEY, age about 26, was the victim. Riley was a step-son of Richard DALTON of Indiantown, brother-in-law of Police Magistrate TAPLEY. Deceased was the young man who jumped in and saved Charles HECTOR from drowning when the latter was thrown overboard from tug "Hercules" by some sports about the time of the Ross-Hanlan race.
